1. Information Collected from Property Partners (Agents/Landlords)
To maintain the integrity and safety of the PairRoom platform, we collect verification information from property agents and owners. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Identity Verification: Government-issued identification (such as NIN, Voter’s Card, or Passport).
- Property Credentials: Documentation confirming property ownership, management authority, or agency status.
- Contact Details: Business address, phone numbers, and email addresses.
2. Purpose of Collection
This data is collected solely for the purpose of verifying the legitimacy of property listings and the individuals managing them. This is an essential safety measure to protect our student community from fraudulent activity.
3. Data Handling & Security
We treat sensitive identification documents (such as government-issued IDs) with the highest level of security. These documents are stored in encrypted, restricted-access internal systems and are never displayed on the public-facing website.
